My Message

Hi, it’s me hmsshayann,

Wow, this is the first post as a 7th grader. Today, I will be talking about a message that I think is very important, Poverty. Poverty is everywhere in the world. No matter where you are in the world, there are some people and families that need our help. It’s really sad because sometimes, they live with just the house frame and no roof. They need to find clean and purified water to drink and cook with. Accordingย to Everyday Health, your body loses a lot of water due to breathing, sweating, and digestion. It is very important to rehydrate your body. In the world, not every place has clean and purified water to drink.

People who are in poverty have been through a lot. Like, after a really terrible storm. Some lose their whole house, and some lose some things. But, once you lose your roof, it’s hard to keep dry. And some are poor, to begin with, so when they lose their house, it’s really hard. They don’t have the money to fix their home. So, they can’t have a place to keep warm and stay safe. And, when they stay in the clothes that they had to travel within the polluted water, they can become sick. Who knows what is laying in the water.

It’s really sad that many people don’t have money to buy the necessities of life. To buy food, water, and clothes. Everyone needs food, water, clothing, and shelter. Poverty shouldn’t happen to everyone. It should be fixed. Poverty should be something where others who want to help, should have a saying and should be allowed to help. People shouldn’t have to go through losing their house and not having enough money to buy necessities for life. We should all be able to live in a home, an apartment, or a townhouse and have enough money to buy the necessities.

That’s all for today!

  1. Hi hmsshayann,

I like how you are against poverty and because it is wrong and no one should be in that position ever.
